Smaller-frame cats or companions with a finer neck.
Size Guide
Finding the right fit starts with comfort.
Miya Tails bibs are designed separately for cats and dogs, with fit and proportion considered for each companion. Measure first, then use the guide below to find the size that feels most natural for them.
How to measure
Measure the neck where the bib naturally sits.
A good fit should feel close and secure without feeling restrictive. Start with the neck measurement before choosing a size.
Where to measure
Measure around the neck where a collar would normally sit, rather than directly beneath the jaw or too low on the chest.
How close should it be?
Keep the tape gently against the neck and leave enough room to slide one finger comfortably underneath.
For long-haired companions
Gently part or compress the fur and measure closer to the neck, rather than around the outer volume of the coat.
Before you measure
Choose by neck circumference.
Weight and breed can help as a reference, but the neck measurement should guide the final size.
A comfortable everyday fit for many adult cats.
Larger-frame or broader-necked cats needing more room.
Between two sizes? Choose the larger size for a more comfortable everyday fit.
Start with their neck measurement.
Breed and body size are useful references, but their neck measurement should determine the final size.

Medium companions with a broader neck and sturdier build.
Larger companions that need a little more room around the neck.

Sizing FAQ
The questions we hear most.
A few quick answers before you choose.
Start with the neck.
Neck measurement should always be your main reference. Weight and breed can help give context, but pets of the same weight can still have very different neck proportions.
Give them a little more room.
If your companion falls between two sizes, we generally recommend choosing the larger size for a more comfortable everyday fit.
Measure the neck, not the coat.
Gently part or compress long or dense fur and place the tape closer to the neck. Avoid measuring around the outer volume of the coat.
Secure, never restrictive.
The fit should sit comfortably around the neck without pulling. You should be able to slide one finger between the neck and the measuring tape.
Leave room to grow.
If your companion is still growing, allow a little extra room and recheck the neck measurement before future purchases.
